Former Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party chief Arvind Kejriwal has not been invited for the Republic Day Parade at which US President Barack Obama will be the chief guest. The AAP feels that the government is breaking protocol by not inviting the ex-chief minister, who was keen to attend the parade. Kejriwal termed this a politically motivated move and said that as former CM and MLA he should not be treated this way. This is not the first time PM Modi has targeted Kejriwal, as in a recent Delhi rally Modi called the AAP chief an anarchist and said he should go to the jungles and join the Naxals. Meanwhile Delhi is under the highest level of security and unprecedented measures for President Obama's visit. Obama is accompanied by a delegation that includes several officials as well as First Lady Michelle Obama. Obama was accorded a ceremonial welcome at the Rashtrapati Bhawan by President Pranab Mukherjee and PM Narendra Modi.
