Boeing and Tata announce JV to build Aerospace Projects

INVESBoeingBoeing and Tata Advanced Systems have announced a joint venture that will manufacture aerostructures for AH-64 Apache attack choppers and will collaborate on integrated systems development opportunities in India.

A statement by Boeing said ‘Boeing and Tata Advanced Systems intend to grow the UN partnership with a focus on opportunities to collaborate on development and selling of integrated systems.’ Chris Chadwick, President and CEO of Boeing Defence Space and Security said ‘The partnership will capitalise on India’s industrial capability, innovation and talent to contribute to Boeing’s long-term competitiveness and position for growth in the global marketplace.

Boeing India President Pratyush Kumar said that over the last 12 months, the company has doubled its sourcing from India, and they are committed to continue that journey.
