Award winning British director James Erskine announced that he will be directing cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar in a biopic, in which he will play himself. According to a Mumbai based production company spokesperson, the film will be mostly about his personal life, since his cricketing career is well known. The unnamed film is expected to be about two hours long and the production company stated they are aiming to release it by the end of this year. Shooting for the film has been going on for the past year. The film is aimed at Tendulkar's fans all over the world and the film makers say they expect it will be watched by Tendulkar's fans all over the world. Tendulkar who was awarded the Bharat Ratna, retired from all forms of cricket in 2013 with an unparalleled record of 100 international centuries.
