darmaveer singhDharamveer Singh a jawan with the 66 Armoured Regiment in Dehradun who was missing since 2009, was declared dead three years later.

In an emotional reunion Dharamveer recounted his journey to Alwar to his wife, brother and two daughters. He told them of how he was hit by a bike and the rider rushed him to a hospital where he regained consciousness and realised he had recovered his memory.

The biker gave him Rs. 500 that Singh used to buy a ticket to Delhi and then reached his village near Alwar.

Singh was delighted to see his wife who said she knew in her heart that she would see him again. His little daughters are now teenagers. The family has taken him to Jaipur for treatment.
