Delhi assembly election exit polls predict win for AAP

A record 67.21 percent of Delhi voters exercised their franchise when the state went to the polls to vote for the 70-seat assembly on Saturday. When voting closed various agencies took surveys of the exit polls and four predicted that Arvind Kejriwal's Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) would get somewhere upwards of 39 seats, followed by the BJP, with Congress a distant follower. Kejriwal exuded confidence that his party got a clear mandate and said "truth will triumph'. The Election Commission said the elections went off peacefully and there was no major glitch in the Electronic Voting Machines though 44 of the EVMs had to be replaced.
