Delhi boy sets Guinness record with pencil collection

BACKtusharTushar Lakhanpal, 17, has set a Guinness World Record with his collection of 19,824 lead pencils of different shapes and sizes that he has collected from over 40 countries.

Tushar a student of Grade 12 in Delhi Public School will receive a certificate once formal approval is received from the Guinness.

Tushar’s collection has also been featured in the Limca Book of Records. He also has Swarovski studded pencils and two others that were once used by the Queen of England, which he holds most precious.

He now plans to open a pencil museum that would be the second in the world after the one in the UK, for children to see.
