Euros in their rectums – 3 arrested at Delhi airport

euroThree men were caught at Indira Gandhi International Airport, hiding some 390,000 euros in their rectums.

The bank notes equivalent to Rs.2.9 crore were wrapped in plastic pouches and inserted into their body cavity, sources in the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence said.

The men were intercepted by DRI officials when they landed from Dubai.  During their search, some currency notes were found in their turbans but most of the money was found inserted in their rectum.

Officers said it was one of the biggest seizures of its kind at IGI. They had received a tip-off on the 3 men.
