Unseasonal rains during March and April brought down temperatures and delayed the onset of summer – it also caused extensive crop damage. April this year, in fact, turned out to be the wettest April in recorded memory. The unseasonal rain that had kept the temperature under control seems to have finally abated. The soaring heat also led to frayed tempers and road rage incidents along with an increase in traffic accidents.
