Congress will not use corruption evidence against opposition leaders !
Report dated 22/10/2012 @ 3:33 PM

Congress will not use corruption evidence against opposition leaders ! Congress decides to do the right thing, and according to General Secretary Digvijay Singh, though evidence exists of alleged corruption against the relatives of former Prime Minister Atal Behari Vajpayee and L K Advani, the Congress will never use the evidence to embarrass the ex Statesmen. Singh said "politicians are also human beings and cannot be expected to track the activities of all their relatives.

Speaking during the Devil's Advocate programme on CNN-IBN, Singh also rejected as 'hollow' allegations of a nexus between Sonia Gandhi's son-in-law Robert Vadra, DLF and the Congress in Haryana, to give Vadra undue benefits in land dealings. He said Sonia Gandhi is not Robert Vadra's chartered accountant, and when questions on why the files moved so fast in the case of Vadra's land dealings were asked, Singh said there is no illegality in speedy clearance as speed in not impropriety, but rather, should be rewarded.
