India has 58 records in latest Guinness Book of Records

The latest edition of the Guinness World Records is out and the editors say there are 58 records created by Indians, which is a record in itself.

Among the record holders from India is Vijay Kumar VA’s record number of teeth, K Ullas Kamath’s largest collection of airline boarding passes and Nidhi Bansal’s largest collection of stickers.

India also has the world’s shortest cow and the shortest living woman; the longest motorcycle; largest ballpoint pen; largest greeting card and other extraordinary entries among the total of 39,740 entries under various categories, of which 4,281 made the mark after they were meticulously verified and measured by the GWR team.

Delhi unfortunately got the dubious distinction this year of being the most polluted city on earth and India is recorded as the world’s largest buyer of arms for the third year running.
