Indian politicians make revolting comments on rape

RapeAfter a Samajwadi Party lawmaker alleged that a recent gang-rape in Bulandshahr might be a ‘political conspiracy, the BJP describe the comment as outlandish and highly objectionable.

However sadly Indian politicians and so-called spiritual leaders from all political parties, including the BJP have said revolting things about rape, such as “The victim is guilty as her rapists and she should have called the culprits brothers and begged them to stop, and had she recited the Saraswati mantra she would not have boarded a bus after watching a movie with her boyfriend” This was said about the 2012 Delhi gang-rape and murder in 2012.
