Kiran Bedi agrees to contest against Kejriwal if BJP wants

Former IPS officer Kiran Bedi says she will contest against Aam Aadmi Party chief Arvind Kejriwal from the Delhi consituency if her Bharatiya Janata Party wishes her to. She joined the BJP after meeting PM Narendra Modi and there are indications that she will be the BJP's face for the 2015 Delhi Assembly elections. Bedi however evaded media questions on whether she was ready to become Delhi Chief Minister if the BJP formed the government in the capital. The BJP parliamentary board meets shortly and the decision on announcing a CM candidate will be taken during the meeting. Meanwhile Shazia Ilmi, a founding member of AAP also joined the BJP, but did not reveal if she would contest in the upcoming Delhi elections. She had quit the AAP after losing the 2014 Lok Sabha election.
