Life imitates art : Indian girl stranded in Pakistan

NRINTERhomAs they say ‘fact follows fiction’ and according to reports External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj has asked TCA Raghavan, the Indian High Commissioner to Pakistan, to go to Karachi to meet the Indian girl who has been and still is stuck in Pakistan for 14 years.

The girl can neither speak nor hear and all efforts to trace her family in India remain fruitless

According to Faisal Edhi of the Edhi Foundation the Punjab Rangers took the girl to them, and for 14 years they have been trying unsuccessfully to locate her family or her hometown.
