In a move that will probably reopen the ‘sexism in Bollywood’ debate, Niddhi Agerwal, who debuts with Tiger Shroff in the dance drama, ‘Munna Michael’ has been told to sign a no-dating clause till the film wraps up, and that extends beyond the limit of the sets. The dance drama began recently and Niddhi joins the unit shortly.
She said she read the contract over and over to comprehend what she was reading, but she does not have a problem, as she understands that the intention is that they want total dedication from her. She also said she understands that the makers included the clause because dating a co-star has become a publicity ruse for production houses, that takes away the focus from films, so she can now put her phone away and practice for hours without worrying about who is calling her. It is a matter of 5 or 6 months and she is okay with it!
Meanwhile, producer Viki Rajani says the clause is only for Niddhi and Tiger has been spared because he is already a star while this is Niddhi’s launch film. He says Niddhi agreed to the clause and she starts shooting now and will be done by February.
