NCP leader Sule’s ‘sari’ comment unwraps Parliament’s secret !

THESEsupriyaMPs were indignant at the remarks made by NCP leader Supriya Sule who said at a college event, that ‘women members make small talk about ‘sarees’ and parlours, when Parliament debates drag on’.

All the same, some MPs confessed that Sule, the daughter of NCP chief Sharad Pawar, let out an inconvenient secret. and one colleague said Sule was being truthful.

The remarks continued to create ripples allegedly because they came alongside scenes of a blockaded Parliament, made worse by the demand for salary hikes for MPs.

Several MPs shrugged it off and said they enjoy the debates and the MPs knowledge on policies and their constituencies is impressive.

Reports also say the truth lies somewhere in the middle as while the entire breed may not be as frivolous as Sule’s remarks imply, they are in fact not as high as the standards of the erudite years past, that observers still recall and marvel at.

One offered his comment saying ‘Supriya has demystified the ‘Honourable’ part of MPs, who are just human beings, and since she was candid she helped others to be accepted.

In any case, it would seem that the media and commentators will not be able to resist Sule’s remark that invites all sorts of snide retorts in and of itself.
