Police have found new evidence from the hotel room where former Union minister Shashi Tharoor's wife Sunanda Pushkar was found dead. Police revealed that they found fluid marks on the bed and the carpet, and shards of broken glass, as well as other evidence. The investigation of the crime scene took place after the AIIMS medical board, in its final opinion, reiterated its earlier stand that Sunanda had died of poisoning. The suite at the Leela Palace hotel in Delhi was kept sealed all these months and was opened for the first time since the initial police investigation. Sunanda Pushkar, 52, was found dead in mysterious circumstances in her room at the five-star hotel on January 17.
