Now fly direct to San Francisco from India

INTERairtailShortly after Prime Minister Narendra Modi spent time visiting Silicon Valley and the Indian diaspora there, Air India announced the launch of a non-stop flight to San Francisco starting December 2.

Speaking at an event to celebrate World Tourism Day in Delhi, Air India CMD Ashwani Lohani said the launch fulfils the long awaited demand of Indian IT professionals, making San Francisco Air India’s fourth destination in the US. The flights that will be operated on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays will have convenient early morning departures and arrival times.

Air India also announced the Discover India scheme that will enable fliers to buy a maximum of 5 or 10 coupons on economy class. Air India is also to launch Air India Holiday packages from December 1 with the State Tourism Development Corporations. These plans will help tourists see and enjoy India economically and comfortably.
