Sanjeev Sanghara executive chef opened an Indian street food restaurant in Sunderland called ‘Popadoms’ He believes it is the perfect place for the restaurant that created some 30 part-time jobs in the city.
Sanghara said the menu also features handi and tiffin options that are inspired by a trip to India. He admits there is a lot of competition from other Indian restaurants at the same site. Nonetheless he intends to launch a chain of Papadoms restaurants. He family owns two traditional Indian restaurants in Scotland.
