NRI forms joint venture in US to attract Indian investment

NRINVjvSatish Jha, chairman of the diversified The Jha Group (TJG) announced he has formed a joint venture with US based investment firm Ashcroft Sullivan Economic Development Centers to attract Indian investment and economic opportunities to Indians under the EB-5 programs, stimulating job creation in the US for Indians seeking US citizenship for themselves and their families.

The new joint venture has been named Ashcroft Sullivan Jha. It aims to stimulate the US economy through job creation and capital investment in industrial projects through Indian companies under which certain visas are allocated for investors in regional centres designated by the USCIS, based on proposals for promoting economic growth. The USCIS provides foreign nationals an opportunity to become permanent residents when they invest $1 million or $500,000 in a designated targeted employment area.

Ashcroft Sullivan Jha’s mission is to create new jobs in the Mid-Atlantic and New England regions.

The principals of the venture have set up offices in Delhi and Goa and plan to open offices in Kolkata Hyderabad and Chandigarh to educate investors on the availability of Green Cards for immigrants from India through the program.
