Kooner took to Facebook to voice his anger and claimed it was an act of racism, cases of which have escalated in the wake of Brexit.
Kooner wrote that he was told by officials that he had to leave the line for centre court, because he made some people uncomfortable, so they had to report him and asked him to leave immediately.
As it happens Kooner a sportsman himself, dreams of playing professional tennis. He was eventually allowed to enter the ground after re-joining the line some hours later, and he made an official complaint about his treatment. He said he felt awful and that he should have fought back but he backed down and left silently. He admitted Wimbledon is still one of his favourite tournaments. Dozens of people responded to his on-line post saying he should report the discrimination to police.
A Wimbledon spokesperson confirmed that a gentleman was asked to leave the queue at 4.42 am after a number of complaints from others in the queue about his behaviour. The man insists he did nothing to warrant being escorted off the grounds.
