NRI teen says his search engine beats Google for accuracy

INGANMOLTCanadian NRI Anmol Tukrel, 16, has apparently designed a personalised search engine that he claims is 47% more accurate than Google, and about 21% more accurate on an average.

Tukrel a grade 10 student has been working on his project for just a couple of months and has taken some 60 hours to code and build a search engine that is part of a submission to the Google Science Fair.

Reports say when Tukrel was in India for a brief internship in Bangalore he learned about Google having a personalised search engine and he planned to take it to a next level. His kit included a computer with some 1GB of free storage space, a spreadsheet program and access to Google and the NYT.
