Christina Sethi, 25, a care home worker has been given a 10 year jail sentence by a British court, for sexually assaulting three victims, one male and two female, at a care home in Devon, between Jan 2014 and May this year.
Sethi also deliberately targeted victims suffering with dementia, the oldest of whom was a 101-year old female. One of the victims has since died. Sethi also filmed the assaults on her cell phone before sharing them with her boyfriend.
During sentencing at the Plymouth Crown Court the judge said she had committed horrific abuse on 3 vulnerable victims who were in the home under Sethi’s care. Devon and Cornwall Police described Sethi’s actions as incomprehensible. She carried out shocking acts of abuse at the care home.
The abuse was revealed when a man who knew Sethi bought a computer from her and found deleted films of the assaults that he reported to the police.
A 32-year-old man was also arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit sexual assault – he was released without charge.
