The Punjab government is to hold three 'Sangat Darshans' for NRIs in Moga, Jalandhar and Ludhiana in January, to redress their grievances. Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal will preside over the meetings. NRI Affairs Minister Tota Singh said NRIs belonging to Moga, Ferozepur, Fazilka, Muktsar, Bathinda, Mansa and Bansala districts are invited for the camps at Moga town, while NRIs from Jalandhar, Kapurthala, Hoshiarpur, Amritsar, Tarn Taran, Gurdaspur and Pathankot districts will be invited to Jalandhar, and those from Ludhiana, Nawanshahr, Rupnagar, Mohali, Patiala, Fategarh Sahib and Sangrur will be invited to Ludhiana. The minister said the meetings will enable a large number of NRIs to get their issues resolved, and the email address email@example.com has been created to receive the NRIs complaints or concerns in advance. Participating NRIs are advised to take their passports or OCI/PIO/NRP cards as proof of their identity.
