Two Indian CWG officials arrested in Glasgow

IOA general secretary Rajiv Mehta and wrestling referee Virender Malik have been arrested in Glasgow on separate charges.

Referee Virender Malik was arrested for alleged sexual assault, and Rajiv Mehta was arrested for alleged drunk driving. The two are not part of the 215 strong official contingent who are staying in the Games village. Both men are lodged at a local hotel.

A Scotland Yard spokesperson confirmed the arrests but refused to divulge any details.
