Malayali artists Bose Krishnamachari and Riyas Komu have been ranked among the 100 most influential people in the contemporary art world, by London based ArtReview, an international contemporary art magazine.
The pair were on the list because of their contribution to contemporary art by organising Kochi-Muzins Biennale. With two successful editions behind them they have begun work on the third edition.
ArtRevied compiles an annnual list of 100 people in recognition of their contribution to contemporary art. The list is one of the most established rankings in the art world, This year the list was compiled by a 16-member international jury.
ArtReview’s 2015 Power 100′ list includes Ai Weiwei, the Chinese contemporary artist, Nicholas Serota, the Director of the Tate, Shaikha Hoor Al Qasimi, President of the Sharjah Art Foundation and other illustrious minds.
