Sanchit Kapoor, 15, has scored a perfect 2400/2400 in the Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) exams, putting him among the top 0.5 percent of the 1.8 million students who appeared for the college board exam.
The SAT score is a qualifying requisite for admissions to undergraduate degree courses in US universities.
Sanchit wants to study software programming and computer science and engineering at Stanford. He topped his school and the UAE in his Class 10 board examination at the GEMS Modern Academy. He said he knew he had done well in the SAT exams but never expected this score.
His perfect SAT score has now brought Kapoor closer to his objective of getting admission in a top US university.
