Young Rhea is one of the stars of the ‘Child Genius’ series on Channel 4, that begins next week.

She recently beat out 8000 children to a national art prize, and has been studying some 10 hours a day to prepare for the programme in which she will compete with 15 rivals. Among the tests they will face is memorising 155 UK train stations.

Rhea told the media that doing the contest is an incredible experience and she has enjoyed making friends with some of the participants. Her mother Sonal said the school designed a programme for gifted kids and now Rhea reads GCSE-level books. Sonal is also being advised to let young Rhea take her GCSEs early.
