US NRI adopts 3 schools near Ludhiana

INITIAcsbathCharanjit Singh Bath, 65, who relocated to California 40 years ago has adopted 3 government schools in partnership with the state government, with the idea of improving his native Noorpura village.

Mr Bath also owns acres of land at Noorpura and Talwindi Rai, and visits his village every winter when he donates to the schools or gurdwaras.

This time in Noorpura 5 classrooms will be constructed at a cost of Rs.45.12 lakhs and at Siloni village school and Talwindi Rai school hall will be built at a total cost of Rs.7.96 lakhs and 9.20 lakhs each.
